Adhering to the concepts of innovation, quality, and excellence, we focus on continuously improving the development and application of melamine foam technology to meet the needs of various fields. After years of unremitting efforts, WENGENG has achieved significant accomplishments.
Processing & Die- Cutting
Factory Strength
Cross Cutting
Cross-cutting refers to the process of slicing melamine foam blocks horizontally, typically to achieve specific thicknesses or sheet sizes. This method is commonly used to produce flat foam sheets for applications such as cleaning pads, insulation layers, or soundproofing materials. The precision of cross-cutting ensures uniform thickness and smooth edges, making it suitable for further processing like laminating or die-cutting.
Vertical Cutting
Vertical cutting involves slicing melamine foam blocks along their length, resulting in strips or custom-shaped pieces. This technique is often used to create foam strips for sealing, gaskets, or specialized industrial applications. Since melamine foam is lightweight yet rigid, vertical cutting requires sharp blades or CNC machines to maintain clean, straight edges without excessive compression or deformation.
Laminating
Laminating is the process of applying a thin film or adhesive layer onto melamine foam to enhance its durability, water resistance, or surface properties. Common laminated films include polyethylene (PE), polyester (PET), or flame-retardant coatings, depending on the application (e.g., construction, automotive, or cleaning tools). The lamination process may involve heat sealing, pressure-sensitive adhesives, or ultrasonic bonding to ensure strong adhesion without compromising the foam’s porous structure.
