Key Properties
- Sound Absorption: Excellent noise reduction (NRC up to 0.95) due to its open-cell structure, making it ideal for acoustic panels.
- Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity, useful in building insulation.
- Fire Resistance: Self-extinguishing (meets UL94 V0 flame-retardant standards) and can withstand temperatures up to 240°C (464°F).
- Lightweight & Flexible: Easy to cut and shape but can be brittle under stress.
- Chemical Resistance: Resists most solvents but degrades in strong acids/bases.
